Children’s Concert at Escuelita to Benefit HAAM

On an annual basis, many businesses and organizations throughout the City of Austin embark on a day of fundraising and sponsorship to benefit the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians. HAAM is a non-profit organization that annually provides a variety of health services to over 2,000 Central Texas musicians. Throughout Austin, on one set day each year, entities throughout Austin host special concerts or donate 5% of that day’s proceeds to HAAM. Last year, HAAM Benefit Day fundraised over $400,000. The goal for 2015 is to fundraise $450,000.
HAAM has invited Escuelita to host a children’s concert on our own stage on Tuesday, September 1st, the Benefit Day, to coincide with all the other concerts that will be taking place throughout the city. Escuelita has agreed to contribute 100% of the concert’s proceeds to the organization. We will finalize the concert details in the next several weeks. Once we have the details worked out we will send out the flyers about the event. The concert will be free to everyone, and your donations will be very welcomed and appreciated. The concert will be open to the public, so please feel free to spread the word about this upcoming children’s concert. In the meantime, put September 1st on your calendar for a late afternoon children’s concert at Escuelita.
